National Lottery Heritage Fund
From historic buildings, our industrial legacy and the natural environment, to collections, traditions, stories and more – heritage can be anything from the past that you value and want to pass on to future generations.
As part of its Heritage 2033 strategy, the National Lottery Heritage Fund has launched three strategic initiatives offering targeted funding to address long-standing heritage issues across the UK.

Historic England's History in the Making Programme
The History in the Making programme will enable underrepresented young people (aged 13 to 25) to research, discover and commemorate local histories. Each funded project will create a place marker to celebrate and share these stories with the community.

Unrestricted Grants from The Fore [CLOSING SOON]
From midday on July 24, 2024, small organisations working with marginalised groups will be able to apply for unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 (over 1-3 years) for projects and activities that have the potential to transform their organisation.
The funding is made available by the charity "The Fore" to support charities that want to grow, strengthen, become more efficient, or resilient.
UK registered charities, CICs, CIOs or Community Benefit Societies with an annual income of under £500,000 are eligible to apply.

BBC Children in Need Grants for Organisations working with Disadvantaged Children
Registered charities and not-for-profit organisations working with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 and under in the UK, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands can apply for grants of up to £40,000 per year for up to three years to help support their core costs.
The grants, made available through the BBC Children in Need, can contribute towards organisational core costs such as HR and payroll expenses, office costs, accountancy and audit, communications and outreach, and governance, regulatory, and compliance costs.

Lloyds Bank Foundation's Organisational Development Support Programme [CLOSING SOON]
Small charities in England and Wales can apply to the Lloyds Bank Foundation's Organisational Development Support Programme to help them identify and achieve their development goals.
This two-year programme provides non-financial support tailored to the needs of each charity, including mentorship, training, peer networks, and resources.

National Lottery Community Fund
Charities and other not-for-profit organisations that want to help communities come together and make the UK a better-connected society can apply for grants of between £500,000 and £5 million through the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF)—UK Fund.
The fund is open to UK-based registered charities, community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations, community benefit societies, co-operative societies, constituted voluntary or community organisations, statutory bodies, companies limited by guarantee, and partnerships of organisations.
The fund will fund up to 20 organisations annually for projects that can run for up to 10 years.

Funding from CLA Charitable Trust
Charities and not-for-profit organisations in England and Wales can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects that help disadvantaged people connect with nature and the countryside.
The funding, made available through the CLA Charitable Trust, supports projects that improve the physical and mental health and well-being of disadvantaged people by helping them visit and participate in recreational and educational opportunities in the countryside.

The Step Up Fund is seeking to fund 20 Voluntary, Community,
Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Organisations operating in Wirral with
the dual objective of increasing capacity within the sector to deliver the
outcomes in the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and to improve the
resilience and sustainability of organisations.
