We are able to offer you support with a variety of topics, from helping you to decide which legal structure is suitable for your organisation, helping you to create your legal document and register your organisation to working with you to deliver bespoke sessions with regard to helping your trustees better manage your organisation. We are able to provide resources and templates on many operational elements of managing your organisation which can be found in our Resources section below.

The Capacity Building Team
Zel Rodgers - Development Manager
Zel, our Development Manager, oversees the capacity building department at Wirral CVS. She has been committed to supporting the VCFSE in various different roles for over 20 years. Zel is well-respected and connected member of the sector who specialises in Start Up, Funding and Governance advice. Zel's has a wealth of local and sector knowledge and is great first port of call in any situation.
Alex Fisher - Faith Development Officer
Alex our Faith Development officer has had a varied career in the third sector, working initially in delivery at a community project before moving into community development. He has a wide range of knowledge across a variety of sector topics but more recently has invested time into the Faith sector, working as a Faith Development Officer with Together Wirral Churches Forum before joining Wirral CVS.

As well as offering individual support for trustees, Wirral CVS also offer board-wide support for your organisation. We offer tailored support for your organisation, working alongside the whole board to support with guidance on roles, responsibilities and best practice as well as equipping trustees with the essential skills and knowledge around the principles of the charity governance code.
