Core Responsibilities :
1. Lead the organisation, establish its standards, and represent it as the public face and ambassador.
2. Serve as the organisation’s figurehead while strengthening and expanding relationships with commissioners and key stakeholders.
3. Define the strategic direction in collaboration with the Board of Trustees.
4. Implement the strategic plan and drive sustainable organisational growth.
5. Provide strong financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, income generation, and asset
management.
6. Prioritise and advance the diversification of funding streams with overall accountability.
7. Ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance including GDPR, H&S, Safeguarding, Charity Governance.
8. Build and develop a strong workforce while fostering a unified, one-team culture.
£70,000 - £75,000 per annum (FTE) Depending on experience

Crisis Response Worker
Spider Project
We are seeking a compassionate and committed Crisis Response Worker to join our team. This role is central to the day-to-day delivery of our crisis service and involves direct 1:1 support for individuals in distress.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing 1:1 crisis support to individuals accessing the service.
Working in close partnership with external agencies including A&E, Police, NWAS, Primary Care services, NHS 111, Drug and Alcohol services, and other third-sector organisations.
Working alongside volunteers and co-producing the effective delivery of the crisis service and Creative Recovery Programme.
£26,600 per annum

Alcohol Recovery Worker
YMCA Wirral
Homelessness isn’t just about losing a home—it’s about losing stability, security, and often, hope. We are recruiting a specialist Alcohol Recovery Worker to support individuals facing homelessness and the additional challenge of substance misuse. Through a contract with Wirral Borough Council, YMCA Wirral operates a Controlled Drinking Environment (CDE) which provides a safe, supervised, and dignified space for individuals struggling with alcohol dependency.
What you will be doing:
Supporting people through the highs and lows, offering practical help, understanding and encouragement.
Delivering harm reduction strategies and techniques within the CDE.
Inspiring change and making a lasting difference in people’s lives.
£17,494 per annum
