We offer training to support both volunteers and the organisations that work with them. Becoming a trustee is one of the most impactful ways to support a voluntary or community organisation. Trustees play a vital role in guiding an organisation’s direction, ensuring it is well-governed, sustainable and working in the best interests of the people it serves.
You don’t need to be an expert to become a trustee. Organisations benefit from a wide range of perspectives, skills and lived experiences. Whether you bring professional expertise or a passion for your community, trusteeship offers a meaningful opportunity to influence positive change in Wirral.
At Wirral CVS, we can support you to understand what being a trustee involves and help you find opportunities that match your interests and experience. We also work with organisations to promote trustee roles and encourage more people to get involved at a governance level.
