Would you like to design a bespoke Safeguarding Adults training course for volunteers while gaining a nationally recognised qualification in training and facilitation?
Wirral CVS is offering 10 fully funded places on the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). This opportunity is open to staff from Wirral-based Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations who support and train volunteers.
About the Programme
This initiative forms part of Wirral CVS’s ongoing work to strengthen volunteer training and safeguarding capacity across the sector.
Participants will:
Complete the AET Level 3 qualification
Collaboratively co-produce a Safeguarding Adults training course designed for volunteers
Contribute to a sustainable, sector-led approach to addressing safeguarding training gaps identified across Wirral’s VCFSE sector
This programme represents a unique opportunity to both upskill staff and build sector capacity. The resulting Safeguarding Adults training will be developed and owned by the VCFSE sector, with potential for future accreditation and income generation through external delivery.

To be eligible, applicants must:
Be employed by a VCFSE organisation based in Wirral
Support and train volunteers as part of their current role
Be available for all listed training and co-production dates
