Following on from the incident on 26th May last week, Dave Bradburn, Director of Public Health in Wirral has sought to share information and resources that those in the community, either directly or indirectly affected, can utilise:
"We have all been profoundly shocked by what happened on Monday in Water Street and our thoughts are with all those affected at this difficult time. Being involved, seeing or hearing about such incidences can be very upsetting, and for some, it can be overwhelming. At times like these it’s essential we remind people that no-one needs to struggle alone and there is guidance and services that can help."
"[Provided are] community wellbeing toolkits developed by Liverpool City Council to support people, one for adults and one for children and young people, and a user guide that explains the principles behind the toolkits. The toolkits have been adapted to include Wirral resources. The information is also part of the Liverpool Kind to Your Mind website – difficult or traumatic events page."
