This week's Funding Bulletin (September 23rd - September 27th 2024)

A short summary of funding opportunities that have came to our attention this week.
Children's Alliance Grants [CLOSING SOON]

Children’s Alliance is a charity on a mission to provide better starts and brighter futures for all children in the UK, especially those that face disadvantage. They know that access to water gives essential life skills and builds children’s confidence and resilience, both physically and emotionally.


They are looking to support grass roots initiatives delivering water based projects for disadvantaged children. This support will be through financial grants and through leveraging their unique position within the aquatic industry in the UK. Grants of up to £15,000 are available.


Current deadline: 30th September 2024



CharityJob

As part of their annual giving, CharityJob is inviting charitable organisations to apply for a share of a £100,000 donation. They are looking for UK-based charities (not a CIC) with 50 or fewer employees that have an annual income of less than £1 million.


Current deadline: 16th January 2025



Help The Homeless

Help The Homeless are looking to support small charities with an annual turnover of less than £500,000 that work with homeless people. They have grants of up to £5,000 available.


Current deadline: 15th December 2024



Pink Ribbon Foundation

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is inviting any charities that work with those who have or have had breast cancer to apply for grants up to £6,000 until the end of May next year.


The Pink Ribbon Foundation’s mission is to help breast cancer charities help their clients recover from their cancer and then live longer, healthier, happier lives. Through its grant making the Pink Ribbon Foundation funds practical projects and initiatives, which aim to help registered charities to deliver good physical and mental health to individuals with, and recovering from breast cancer.

LCVS Community Impact Fund

The Community Impact Fund helps voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector organisations and registered charities do even more to build stronger communities across Liverpool and Merseyside.


Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,000 maximum, for projects that meet one or more of their four main priority areas:


  • Health

  • Education

  • Income stability

  • Arts and Culture


Current deadline: 18th October 2024



Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has announced that the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (formerly the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) will reopen for its third wave of applications.


The fund offers grants to improve the energy performance of social housing in England by installing energy efficiency measures.


Current deadline: 25th November 2024



National Churches Trust’s Large Grants Programme

Listed and unlisted Christian places of worship needing major, urgent structural repairs can apply for grants of up to £50,000.


The funding, made available through the National Churches Trust’s Large Grants Programme, will cover up to 50% of larger, more complex projects costing over £80,000 incl. VAT. Funding is also available for projects costing more than £30,000 incl. VAT that improve facilities such as kitchens and accessible toilets, etc, to enable increased community use.

FCC Community Action Fund

Registered Charities, churches, Parish Councils, Local Authorities and CASC registered sports clubs can apply for grants of between £2,000 and £100,000 for the provision, maintenance or improvement of community facilities. The funding is being made available through the FCC Community Action Fund and is available to projects located within 10 miles of an eligible FCC Environment site.
