A short summary of funding opportunities that have came to our attention this week.
Places of Worship Security Funding Scheme
The UK Government is making funding available to reduce the risk and impact of hate crime and terror attacks at Muslim places of worship and their associated faith community centres in England and Wales.
National Lottery Heritage Grants
National Lottery Heritage Grants is a funding programme for all types of heritage projects in the UK. Not-for-profit organisations across the UK can now apply for grants of between £250,000 and £10 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for projects connecting people and communities to UK heritage.

Edge Fund
The Edge Fund look to support work that challenges abuses of power and aims to bring an end to systems that cause injustice. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to small local grassroots organisations fighting social, economic and environmental injustice.

The Linder Foundation provides funding to projects which fall under five main categories:

The Arts Award Access Fund
The Access Fund provides grants of between £100-£1500 to Arts Award centres working on Arts Award projects with young people who face barriers to access and inclusion.
All registered Arts Award centres based in the UK will be eligible to apply, with priority given to those working with young people for whom access and inclusion is an issue and where the grant will be used to support the organisation to pilot, embed or develop their Arts Award work with these groups.

The Hargreaves Foundation
UK charities, educational institutions and NHS Trusts seeking funding to support those under the age of 18 who are living with a mental health condition or disability or growing up in poverty can apply for funding through the Hargreaves Foundation.
The Foundation aims to help children and young people fulfil their potential and improve their well-being, self-esteem, and independence through educational and sporting activities.

Direct Payments Support Service [Tendering]
Wirral Council is seeking to appoint one organisation to provide a Direct Payment Support Service. The Provider will be expected to enable Direct Payment recipients to manage their Direct Payments as independently as possible and maximise the choice and control of Direct Payment recipients over which aspects of the service they wish to access. The Provider will also contribute towards the development of Direct Payments in Wirral by supporting the Council’s ambitions to increase the uptake of Direct Payments in the borough.

Covenant Fund Trust's Hidden Voices Programme
The Hidden Voices Programme is offering grants of up to £20,000 to facilitate the provision of inclusive mental health and wellbeing assistance for individuals with rarely acknowledged requirements within Armed Forces communities.

The Step Up Fund [CLOSING SOON]
The Step Up Fund is seeking to fund 20 Voluntary, Community,
Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Organisations operating in Wirral with
the dual objective of increasing capacity within the sector to deliver the
outcomes in the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and to improve the
resilience and sustainability of organisations.
