Representation Election Result - Wirral Provider Alliance & SEND Strategic Group

Votes have been cast for the Election of a Representative for both the Wirral Provider Alliance and the SEND Strategic Group.

Wirral Provider Alliance Result

For the Wirral Provider Alliance, there were four expressions of interest received from Sabra Ahmed (Wirral Change), Jay Anderson (Age UK WLS), Carol Johnson-Eyre (Citizens Advice Wirral) and Yang Liu (Wirral Change). Voting closed at midday on Friday 9th January.

There were 46 votes cast. 12 were removed (6 duplicate votes from the same organisation (one vote per organisation), 4 votes from public sector bodies (ineligible), 1 duplicate votes from individuals where the first vote cast was counted and 1 unidentifiable vote).

The result is as follows:

We can hereby confirm that Carol Johnson-Eyre and Jay Anderson have been elected to represent the sector on the Wirral Provider Alliance. Due to the frequency of meetings increasing, Sabra Ahmed will deputise where necessary.

SEND Strategic Group Result

For the SEND Strategic Group, four expressions of interest were received from Tony Berry (Clare Mount College), Sarah Elliott (Koala North West), Tam Gilbert (The Positivitree) and Amy Jones (Autism Together). Voting also closed at midday on Friday 9th January.

There were 32 votes cast. 8 were removed (4 duplicate votes from the same organisation (one vote per organisation), 3 votes from public sector bodies (ineligible) and 1 unidentifiable vote).

The result is as follows:

We can hereby confirm that Tam Gilbert has been elected to represent the sector on the SEND Strategic Group.
