Shout about Volunteering! Wirral CVS will help you do it!

To mark Volunteers' Week, we’re offering a limited number of Volunteers’ Week Shout Out packs for organisations across Wirral.

Successful applicants will receive:

£150 contribution towards a Volunteers’ Week event or gift for your volunteers.
A party pack with printed Volunteers’ Week materials - including thank you cards, cake toppers and banners.
A chance to showcase and celebrate your volunteers across Wirral.

Whether it’s a thank you breakfast, afternoon tea, picnic or team celebration, we want to help you recognise the people who give their time to make a difference.

Who can apply?

To apply for the Shout about Volunteering Micro Grant, organisations must:

Be based in Wirral and delivering activity that benefits the Wirral.
Be registered with Wirral CVS at the time of application*
Involve volunteers within your organisation or project.
Be able to utilise the funds for the benefits of volunteers during Volunteers’ Week (1st - 7th June 2026).
Agree to complete a short feedback form after the event, including numbers engaged, outcomes achieved and photos where possible.

What can we use the money for?

You can chose any event that suits your volunteers, in terms of their interest, location and availability. You may chose to run afternoon tea at your offices, buy volunteers something that recognises their contribution, plan a picnic, or host an awards ceremony. The Volunteer’s week website has lots of ideas for you to consider.
