About the event
Local knowledge is key to understanding need, and often we can only rely on either our own knowledge, or we look at national statistics. Â
The Public Health Intelligence Team can bring heft to local knowledge, without just spouting the usual national statistics. Â
This information session is designed to show you not only how to find local statistics, and compare them to national statistics, but it also is a fantastic opportunity to understand how to use the website to support you to tell a compelling story of need, backed up by local and national knowledge.
Join John Highton - to find out how to explore data, consider local and national tools, present the data that is relevant and increases your understanding of the issues, and understand how to report for greatest impact, this includes sharing findings with the Public Health Intelligence Team
This is a great opportunity for skill building  for you and/or your team by expanding the ways that you learn to demonstrate evidence effectively for grant and commissioning opportunities and how to write excellent evidence based reports.
