UKSPF Digital Connectivity Grants Programme (Round 4) – Wirral Briefing Session, Friday 17th May, 11am, Liberty Church, Birkenhead
VOLA is launching Round 4 of its UKSPF Digital Connectivity for Community Facilities Grants programme w/c 20th May. Grants of up to £10k will be awarded to successful applicants in July 2024. Watch this brief film to see if you think it could be for you.
Over the first three funding rounds, a total of £159k has been awarded to 20 Wirral-based VCFSE sector organisations, with up to £99k available in this round.  One further ‘mop-up’ round will launch mid-September, but the intention is to commit as much of the remaining funding as possible in Round 4, so please don’t wait in case you miss out.
VOLA will be joining Wirral CVS ‘Meet the Funder’ event at Liberty Church, Birkenhead, on Friday 17th May, 11.00am - 12.15pm. The aim of this session is to inform potential applicants about the fund’s purpose, eligibility criteria and key requirements, the application process and what can/ cannot be funded
If you are unable to make this date, there are other online briefings that you are welcome to attend – see VOLA’s website for details.
A second, completely different, but incredibly useful online briefing will take place on Zoom on Tuesday 21st May, 1.00 – 2.15pm. This session will focus on technical considerations when developing-public access computer facilities. It will include plenty of helpful hints and tips on what you need to do, key considerations, things you need to purchase, etc.
- To register for the ‘technical tips’ session, please email patrick.nicholls@volamerseyside.org.uk and he will send you the Zoom links. If not obvious from your email address, please include your name and organisation.
If you are interested in applying for a grant, it is strongly recommended that you attend both sessions. Each will take no more than 1 hour 15 minutes of your time, will greatly increase your chances of success, ensure that the facilities you set up are fit-for-purpose, and will ultimately help you to avoid lots of potential pitfalls, saving you time/money in the long-run!
