About the event
BRIDGE Forum brings together VCSFE staff, volunteers, senior health & care decision makers and health & social care organisations to share updates, improve knowledge and foster strong networks to enable statutory and community services to work effectively together and to ensure the voices of the lesser heard groups, general public and front-line workers are heard.
BRIDGE Forum ensures that what is shared around care provision is publicised, consistent and accessible. Contributing in helping drive improvement in current & future provision and treatment to reduce health inequalities and better health for all.
This is a great opportunity for representatives in varying roles across Health, Social Care and Community to connect and update. Speakers will be sharing information on their areas of work, developments, and the services they offer, linking this to how we can all work together in tackling the challenges of health inequalities and improving care and treatment for Wirral residents. We encourage questions and feedback throughout the meeting.
Speakers:
1. Wirral Carers Alliance- Lottie Shaw: Update on activity and opportunities to get involved with Wirral Carers Forum
2. Beacon Counselling Trust, James Calloway and Anna Barnish, Citizens Advice Wirral- Gambling Harm
3. Wirral University Teaching Hospital, Cecilia Marchant- Patient Communication
4. Barry Marsden – Drop In (Young people support) Wirral Council
5. Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, Maria Pugh- Long COVID Service
There will be allocated time for “any other business” and news-sharing. Please do bring any updates on your activities and services.
