A short summary of funding opportunities that have came to our attention this week.
BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials programme
BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme is delivered by Family Fund Business Services (FFBS). It aims to provide grant items that meet a child or young person’s most basic needs or are critical to their wellbeing.
The grants support families with children up to the age of 17 who are living with financial, health and social difficulties by providing items that meet children’s most basic needs.

The Delamere Dairy Foundation
Grants of £1,000 - £5,000 are available for local projects strengthening communities in England, Scotland, and Wales from The Delamere Dairy Foundation who will provide support for charities, community groups, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations delivering projects that fit the objectives of the Foundation:
The advancement of agriculture and environmental protection
The advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society
The relief of financial hardship
The advancement of education
The relief of sickness

The National Garden Scheme Community Gardens Grants programme
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to create a community garden, park, or allotment with a horticultural focus for the benefit of the local community.
Eligible costs could include:
plants and containers
materials for flower or vegetable beds and other hard landscaping
greenhouses, polytunnels and sheds
seating
hand tools and certain garden power tools (e.g. strimmers)
materials for providing refreshments

The Rewilding Innovation Fund
Rewilding Britain, a charity that works to restore nature, has announced that the next funding round of the Rewilding Innovation Fund is now open for applications. The fund provides up to £15,000 to support innovative rewilding projects across Britain. This exciting fund helps to foster the scale and ambition of rewilding projects, enabling large-scale restoration of ecosystems.
The Rewilding Innovation Fund will support organisations that are part of Rewilding Britain's Rewilding Network (applicants may join at the point of application) and are working to apply the rewilding principles to benefit nature, climate and people.

Laughology’s Happiness Fund
The Happiness Fund is available to enable and support projects which improve mental health, wellbeing, inclusion, learning and skills development in local communities. The Fund will make one award of £5,000 twice a year, allowing up to two different projects per year to be supported.

The One Stop Community Partnership programme
Local Community Groups are able to apply for funding to support their group and to develop an ongoing partnership with your store. Successful applicants will receive an initial grant of up to £1,000 and begin a partnership with their local One Stop store.
The programme provides partnership and financial assistance. Alongside a grant of up to £1,000, the One Stop Community Team and One Stop Store Team create a long-term tailored support programme for successful applicants. Grant recipients then partner with the One Stop Store Team at their local shop to deliver this programme.
