Priority is given to projects that help:

  • children

  • the homeless

  • the elderly

  • people with disabilities

The Foundation also supports a wider range of causes, including education, cultural activities, arts and heritage, health and disability support, overseas famine relief, food banks, and other charitable initiatives.

Charities with an annual turnover of up to £500,000 are eligible to apply.

Current deadline: 31st May 2026

Aberdeen: Pilot Project Fund

UK-registered charities, social enterprises and other non-profit organisations can apply for funding through the Aberdeen Group Charitable Trust’s Empowering Partnerships: Ideas Fund to pilot innovative projects that tackle social and environmental challenges.

The fund supports collaborative projects that:

  • increase financial capability - projects that help people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to manage money effectively and make informed financial decisions

  • create pathways to fair work - projects which support people to overcome barriers to finding good jobs

  • champion the role of nature in healthy communities and economies - projects that help people and communities thrive by protecting and restoring natural environments.

Grants typically range from £20,000 to £80,000, with an average award of around £50,000, for projects lasting up to 18 months.

Eligible organisations must have an annual income below £3 million, and collaborative applications are encouraged.

Current deadline: 7th May 2026

People's Health Trust

The People’s Health Trust has announced the Men’s Health Community Fund, a new partnership with the UK Government and Movember that will invest at least £6.3 million in community and grassroots support for underserved men and older boys in England.

The fund is aimed at organisations working in England’s most deprived areas with men facing the poorest health outcomes. Grants will support community projects that reach underserved men and boys aged 16 and over particularly during key moments in their lives like the transition to fatherhood, job loss or retirement. Funding will help organisations respond to challenges including mental health, debt, housing, family relationships and low income.

This could include:

  • community projects for new fathers

  • activities supporting men experiencing loneliness and social isolation

  • young men’s social connections and engagement with the health system services that help men in work, out of work and moving to retirement.

Applications open in summer 2026, with grants due to be awarded later in the year.

Easyfundraising are awarding 20 unrestricted grants of £500 to UK not-for-profit organisations to help them continue or enhance their work.

The grants are unrestricted, so funds can be used wherever they’re needed most, from core costs to equipment and activities.

The application is quick to complete and open to charities, schools, sports clubs, CICs, social enterprises, youth groups and other UK not-for-profit organisations of all shape and size.

The Barclays Community Sport Fund is now open for applications to its 2026 Access Grant programme.

Grants of £1,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations. The funding aims to make football, cricket and tennis more accessible to women and girls, particularly in disadvantaged or remote communities across the UK.

Eligible applicants include

  • Charities

  • Community groups

  • Youth groups

  • Traditional sports clubs.

Organisations must either already provide, or be planning to start, football, cricket or tennis activities for women and girls. Typically, funding is awarded to organisations running residential or training facilities designed to provide homeless people with direct support and pathways to independence.

Projects previously supported include the Booth Centre in Manchester, which received £1,500 for centre improvements, and the Amber Foundation, which was awarded £3,000 to purchase new bedroom furniture for its residential centre in Devon.
