Take part in Social Value Business' survey to have your say
Wirral CVS is encouraging local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations to take part in a short regional survey that could help shape future social value investment and partnership opportunities across the Liverpool City Region (LCR).
Social Value Business (SVB), working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading transport organisations, is seeking brief feedback from community-focused organisations, charities and businesses across the region.
This engagement relates to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s implementation of a bus franchising model, designed to enhance and reform public transport services across the city region.
Why This Matters
The move to a franchised bus model presents more than a transport reform. It creates potential opportunities linked to:
Community investment initiatives
Local partnerships and collaboration
Financial and non-financial support
Employment and skills pathways
Social value activity embedded within transport delivery
Organisations, residents and communities across Wirral and the wider LCR may benefit from these developments. The feedback gathered will help inform how social value activity is structured and delivered in practice.
This is an opportunity for the VCFSE sector to articulate local priorities and ensure that community needs are reflected in future partnership and funding approaches. Capturing the voice of the sector at this stage increases the likelihood that future investment and partnership structures reflect real community need rather than assumed priorities.
