Resources available for those affected by the Water Street incident

Aftermath Support are a registered charity providing support for all those involved in a road traffic collision.

If you saw the incident in Water Street on Monday, or found yourself nearby in the aftermath, you might still be feeling shocked, shaken or unsure what to do next. You may be thinking about what you saw or heard or struggling to switch off from the images in your mind. These are very human reactions to an overwhelming event.

Aftermath Support is the Merseyside based Charity helping all those affected by serious road collision and has provided resources to help people. It offers calm, trauma-informed guidance for anyone feeling overwhelmed in the aftermath. There's also a version available for young people and their parents.
