New funding opportunities available this week (June 17th - June 21st 2024)

A short summary of funding opportunities that have came to our attention this week.


ACRE Main grants scheme for village halls

Grants up to £75,000 to support larger improvement projects to rural community buildings in England such as full refits and extensions.


This scheme is for those responsible for rural community buildings who wish to make substantive improvements to their building, whether that be extensions or improving energy efficiency and contributing to Net Zero.



Delamere Dairy Foundation Grants

Applications for grants and financial support will be considered from charities and other organisations based in England, Scotland and Wales whose work benefits local communities, and whose purpose aligns with the Foundation’s objects.


You can apply for a minimum of £1000 up to £5000. Charities and organisations may apply once per calendar year.

Educational Opportunity Foundation Grants

The Educational Opportunity Foundation supports charitable organisations running UK and International projects to improve access to education or the quality of education for children and young people under the age of 25, from marginalised or low-income communities or displaced by conflict.


Funding is available for new or pilot projects and Educational Opportunity Foundation will fund between 25% to 100% of the total project costs, but will give preference to projects with some degree of matched funding.



Pets Assisting People Grants from Pets Foundation

Pets Foundation provide funding to charities who help children and adults through the provision of specially trained assistance animals, or through the provision of structured animal assisted learning and therapy. They provide one-off grants or up to three years of funding, to a maximum of £80,000 per year.

The Society Foundation's June 2024 Funding Round

The Society Foundation offers grants to programmes or organisations that are seeking to help people from one or more of the following groups move towards paid employment:

  • The recently homeless or vulnerably housed;

  • Ex-offenders;

  • 16-24 year olds not in employment, education or training.


Current deadline: 8th July 2024



The MSE Charity New Grants Programme

The vision of the MSE Charity is to support UK non-profit organisations to deliver activities which will make a lasting impact on the way people think, behave and manage their money.

Parkinson's UK Grants for Physical Activity Providers

In 2024, Parkinson's UK are providing grants of up to £3,000 to support physical activity projects for people with Parkinson's all over the UK. The grant scheme helps fund activity providers to give people with Parkinson's more opportunities to get and stay active.
