Do you want to help to address health inequalities in Liscard, Seacombe, Poulton and Egremont?

Updated: Apr 24

Wallasey Thrive 365 is a new neighbourhood initiative created through Wirral's Neighbourhood Trailblazer model to help address health inequalities in Liscard, Seacombe, Poulton and Egremont.

Closing date for this funding is Thursday 2nd May 2024 at 5pm.

The cost of living crisis continues to affect all communities so our main focus for the next few months is to concentrate on reducing food poverty in our area.

We want everyone to be able to:

  • Have easy access to good quality, nutritious and affordable food

  • Know where to go to get help and support to improve their mental health and reduce their anxiety around the cost of living crisis

  • Join in with local community food projects and activities to feel less alone and isolated.

The great news is we have a budget of £20,000 to help kickstart projects and activities around these priorities to support local people.

Do you have a great idea for a project or activity to help us achieve this or are you already running projects around these priorities and need some further funding to extend your service?

If so then you can apply for funding for your project up to £5,000.

You don't have to be a formal group to apply as we want to see as many local people and community groups to come together and reduce any barriers to help make this happen.
