This fund supports VCFSE organisations to strengthen their resilience, sustainability and capacity.

To be eligible, organisations must be able to demonstrate how their existing, core activity contributes to one or more of the Wirral Health & Wellbeing Strategy Gamechangers (for example employment, early years, violence reduction, cardio-vascular health, or fuel poverty).  

The funding itself is not for new service delivery. Instead, it can be used to invest in the systems, skills, governance and planning that help organisations continue and strengthen the work they already do in support of local health and wellbeing priorities.  

Wirral CVS has £100,000 of funding from Wirral Council Public Health to provide small grants up to £5,000, with the majority of grants expected to be under £3,000

Wirral CVS is inviting applications from Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations who deliver arts and cultural activities in Wirral. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support projects that strengthen the sustainability and resilience of organisations working in this field and increase the engagement of Volunteers.
